Cricket often delivers moments that are both astonishing and amusing. One such incident recently took place in the Indian Street Premier League, capturing the attention of fans worldwide. A video of the event has since gone viral on social media. In the clip, a batter smashes a powerful shot towards mid-wicket, appearing destined for a four. However, the fielder at the boundary leaps into the air and miraculously keeps the ball inside the field of play, preventing the boundary.

Just as it seemed like a brilliant piece of fielding, the situation took a bizarre turn. The fielder quickly retrieved the ball and threw it towards the bowler. In an attempt to run out one of the batters, the bowler made an overly aggressive throw that missed its target and raced to the boundary.

By the time the ball reached the rope, the batters had already completed two runs. Due to the bowler’s misjudged throw, a total of six runs were conceded (two runs plus four byes). What started as a remarkable fielding effort ended in an unexpected and comical outcome—saving a boundary but ultimately giving away six runs.

The tour continued with visits to Bengaluru Palace, Freedom Park, KR Market, Town Hall, St. Mary’s Basilica, M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Church Street, and Vidyarthi Bhavan.
