[WATCH]- Rahul Dravid Involved In Heated Argument In Bengaluru Road Incident After Car Collides With Auto

Former India head coach Rahul Dravid was caught on camera engaging in a heated argument with an auto-rickshaw driver in Bengaluru on Tuesday afternoon (February 4). The altercation reportedly began after the auto struck Dravid’s car from behind.

Despite his reputation for being calm and composed, Dravid appeared visibly upset and was seen arguing with the driver in Kannada, his native language. As per an IANS report via NDTV, the incident occurred on Cunningham Road, a busy area in Bengaluru.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Additionally, it remains unclear whether Dravid was behind the wheel at the time of the accident. You can watch the video here:

Rahul Dravid Appointed as Rajasthan Royals Head Coach for IPL 2025

Rajasthan Royals have named Rahul Dravid as their head coach for the 2025 IPL season. This marks Dravid’s first coaching role since stepping down as India’s head coach after leading the team to victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup, held in the USA and the West Indies.

Dravid’s return to the IPL marks a significant comeback. After retiring as a player following IPL 2013, the former India captain took on the roles of mentor and Director of Cricket for Rajasthan Royals in 2014 and 2015.

He later became the head coach of Delhi Capitals, a position he held for four years before stepping away to coach India’s U19 team. Dravid is excited to reunite with Rajasthan Royals, a franchise he fondly referred to as his ‘home’ for many years.

In an official statement shared via India Today, he expressed his enthusiasm, saying:

“I am pleased to be returning to the franchise I have called ‘home’ for a number of years in the past. After the World Cup, I feel it’s the ideal time for me to take on another challenge, and the Royals is the perfect place to do that.”
