India vs England: Who Will Win Today’s IND vs ENG 2nd ODI Match?

The Indian bowlers took care of the tail and finished off the Englanders at 248 runs in 47.4 overs, with Ravindra Jadeja and Harshit Rana taking three wickets each.

India’s vice captain, Shubman Gill, was the top scorer for India, making an own score of 87 runs off 96 balls, while Shreyas Iyer contributed 59 runs from a 36-ball inning. Axar Patel was quite important in this inning, playing 52 off 47. Some middle-order wickets fell, but India still won the match by four wickets and 68 balls remaining. With this victory, now India is leading 1-0 in the series. They will be looking forward to it continuing in the second one.

India seems to be going into the second ODI against England with a great deal of strength after winning the T20I series 4-1. The return of experienced players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli has fortified India’s batting.

Traditionally, India has been dominant over England in bilateral ODI series at home, winning seven out of ten series. The only win for England was in the season 1984/85, while two series have ended in a draw. Given all this, it is safe to assume that India will win the match.
