Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain, made an impressive comeback in the second one day international against England by scoring a brilliant hundred. He silenced his critics and arrived in form before the ICC Champions Trophy. He made it too easy for England to score India’s victory over England by smashing the bowlers for the national team in just 90 balls to score 119, including 12 fours and seven sixes, as he pushed the country to a four-wicket victory.
The win was enough to throw India an unassailable two-nil ahead in the three-match series. This inning showcased the temperament and skill of Rohit as he dominated the Indian innings and took the team forward to a comfortable victory. The century was uplifting for Rohit, who had been going through a period of inconsistent form over recent months.
With the ICC Champions Trophy just around the corner, Rohit’s return to form is refreshing for the Indian team. His performance will inspire a lot of confidence in the team, and they will hope to carry this momentum in the upcoming tournament.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma shared his comments after a game-winning century against England in the second ODI at Cuttack. He noted that a few setbacks would not alter his batting style and that one must play with the intention of scoring runs in order to overcome setbacks.
Speaking in a video posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Rohit said, “I have been here long enough, so one or two knocks would not change my mind and the way I bat. It was just about doing your things; I did my thing. Just another day at the office. When you score so many runs, you have done something right. You just need to get back to that mindset of scoring runs. It is a difficult thing to do but much easier to say. In my mind, it was about enjoying.”
“In my mind, it was about doing things I do, bat the way I do. As long you go out there and know on going to bed you know you gave your best, that is all that matters,” he signed off.
