Kohli was the standout performer for Team India, rising to the occasion once again and guiding his side to victory in the high-stakes clash.

However, a lighthearted moment from the match caught everyone’s attention when his wife, Anushka Sharma, was spotted dozing off while he was at the crease. The amusing incident took place during the 15th over, with Kohli unbeaten on 18 off 28 balls.

Talking about his innings, Kohli once again found himself under pressure as India struggled at 43/2 when he arrived at the crease. Displaying his trademark composure, he absorbed the pressure and paced his innings perfectly to steer India closer to the target.

After his brilliant century against Pakistan, Kohli continued his fine form with a crucial half-century, shifting the momentum back in India’s favor. He seemed well on course for another hundred but fell to Adam Zampa while attempting a big six.

Kohli delivered a superb knock of 84 off 98 balls, striking at around 85 with three boundaries and showcasing his trademark resilience. After his dismissal, KL Rahul (42*) and Hardik Pandya (28) confidently guided India to victory with four wickets in hand.

In the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final, India’s Mohammed Shami (3/48), Ravindra Jadeja (2/40), and Varun Chakaravarthy (2/49) delivered key bowling performances. For Australia, Nathan Ellis (2/49) and Adam Zampa (2/60) tried to defend their total, but India successfully chased the target, winning by four wickets.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, March 9. India will face the winner of the ongoing South Africa vs. New Zealand clash. Kohli is expected to be a key player for India in the title match.
