[WATCH] Rohit Sharma’s Unique Reaction As Hardik Pandya Mentions CSK Goes Viral

Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian cricket team and the former captain of Mumbai Indians was seen engaging in a funny banter with Hardik Pandya recently. In an advertisement shot for the promotion of the IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya were seen sitting in a restaurant. In the ad, Rohit asks Hardik, “when is our first match?”

To this Hardik replies, “One Second”, as he calls the waiter. Then he looks at Rohit and says that their first match is on Sunday, against CSK. Hearing the word CSK, Rohit tightens his grip on the glass carrying juice, and the glass breaks. This is a satire shot to showcase the rivalry that CSK (Chennai Super Kings) and MI (Mumbai Indians) have. These two are the most successful franchises in the history of the tournament. CSK and MI have both won the cup five times each and would want to go ahead of each other.

Rohit Sharm and Hardik Pandya are two important players for MI. Rohit has taken the team to five trophies while Hardik has been a huge part of that team. Hardik is now the captain for MI, while it has been confirmed by him that in the match against CSK, Suryakumar Yadav will captain the side. Suryakumar or Sky is known for his ballistic batting style and is also the captain of the Indian cricket team.

Sky will lead MI in the first match against CSK where the captain for the Chennai’s side is Ruturaj Gaikwad.

Hardik Pandya has played 137 games for Mumbai Indians and has been one of the most important guys in the team. Rohit Sharma, on the other hand has played 208 games for the franchise. Rohit has laid the foundation for the reputation of MI as a franchise in the IPL.
