The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) begins at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, where defending champions KKR will face off against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, a team still chasing its first title, despite the possibility of rain affecting the match.

The match is set to begin at 7:30 PM, with the toss taking place at 7:00 PM. Before the action kicks off, a grand opening ceremony featuring performances by Shreya Ghoshal, Disha Patani, and others is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
