[WATCH]- Preity Zinta’s Reaction To Marcus Stoinis’ Early Dismissal Goes Viral In PBKS vs RR Clash

Punjab Kings (PBKS) co-owner Preity Zinta was left visibly shocked as Marcus Stoinis walked back after scoring just 1 run during the IPL 2025 clash against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Mullanpur on Saturday. The Bollywood actress’ reaction, where she was seen mouthing ‘not out,’ quickly went viral across social media platforms.

The dismissal came in the fourth over, with Sanju Samson handing the ball to Sandeep Sharma. After Prabhsimran Singh took a single, Stoinis faced the third delivery and attempted a check drive. However, he handed a simple catch back to the bowler, who celebrated with a confident toss of the ball.

Stoinis had a tough outing with the ball as well, giving away 48 runs in his four overs without taking a wicket. Rajasthan Royals posted a strong total of 205/4, powered by Yashasvi Jaiswal’s 67. His 89-run opening partnership with skipper Sanju Samson laid the foundation for the innings.

Jofra Archer pushed PBKS on the defensive right from the opening over of their innings

Before Sandeep dismissed Stoinis, Rajasthan had already taken control as Jofra Archer knocked over Priyansh Arya and Shreyas Iyer in the very first over, both bowled. The early strikes left PBKS reeling at 43/4, making the chase an uphill battle from the start.

Nehal Wadhera (62) and Glenn Maxwell (30) added a crucial 88-run stand to bring some hope for the hosts. However, their quick dismissals in successive overs shifted the momentum back in Rajasthan’s favor. From there, the visitors tightened their grip and secured a convincing 50-run win—their second straight victory of the season.

Archer, who started the collapse, ended with standout figures of 3/25 from four overs. It also marked Punjab’s first loss of IPL 2025.
