
Ajay Nath Shah Deo, President of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA), extended his congratulations to MS Dhoni following his induction into the ICC Hall of Fame. Dhoni was one of seven cricketing legends honoured with the prestigious recognition on Monday, June 9.
A native of Ranchi, Jharkhand, Dhoni has also represented the state in domestic cricket. To celebrate the occasion, the JSCA president organized a felicitation ceremony in Dhoni’s honour, where he presented him with a bouquet as a token of appreciation.
In the image shared by an Instagram user, Shah Deo is seen wearing a white shirt and jeans, while Dhoni is dressed casually in a navy blue t-shirt, track pants, and sports shoes.

MS Dhoni has featured in 131 first-class matches throughout his career, scoring 7,038 runs at an average of 36.84, which includes nine centuries and 47 half-centuries.
In addition, he has appeared in 423 List-A games, where he accumulated 13,353 runs, registering 17 centuries and 87 fifties. The seasoned cricketer was last seen in action during the IPL 2025 season, captaining the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
MS Dhoni’s Legacy Shines Among Top White-Ball Captains
MS Dhoni, one of the most successful white-ball captains, led India to victory in all three major ICC tournaments—the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup, and 2013 Champions Trophy—leaving a lasting legacy in limited-overs cricket. This year, Dhoni was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame alongside six other distinguished cricketers: Matthew Hayden, Hashim Amla, Graeme Smith, Daniel Vettori, Sana Mir, and Sarah Taylor.
With this honour, Dhoni becomes the 11th Indian cricketer to be included in the prestigious Hall of Fame, joining legends like Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag, Bishan Singh Bedi, Kapil Dev, Anil Kumble, Vinoo Mankad, Diana Edulji, and Neetu David.
Throughout his international career, Dhoni played in 90 Test matches, 350 ODIs, and 98 T20Is, amassing 4,876 runs in Tests, 10,773 in ODIs, and 1,617 in T20Is.
