[WATCH] Kolhapur Tuskers Miss 3 Crucial Run-Out Chances in MPL 2025 Match

The match between the Kolhapur Tuskers and Raigad Royals of the Maharashtra Premier League 2025 was a match that had its fair share of drama. The most dramatic twists and turns arrived as the fielding side, Kolhapur Tuskers, fumbled at least three running opportunities, and mayhem took over. The Tuskers were struggling in the field as a video would go viral on social media.

A strike happened when Vicky Oswal drove the ball offside and easily played a single. The feeling of another run saw the two batters go for the second but crash horribly at the center of the pitch.

The keeper passed the ball to the non-striker side, but before the batter reached the crease, the ball had reached the non-striker side. The other Tuskers fielder ran in to achieve a run-out at the striker’s end when the other batter was still on the ground, and he missed it.

The fielding mistakes by Kolhapur Tuskers were also considered expensive, with the team not making use of the run-out opportunities. The Tuskers had generated a decent score, although, despite the pyrotechnics of Anand Thenge and the 57 not out off just 50 balls of Ankit Bawne, they find themselves on the wrong end of things on the scoreboard. The Royals’ batting order was, however, too strong to beat, and they overhauled the target with ease.

Vicky Oswal helped the Raigad Royals to victory with his unbeaten 74 runs off 54 balls, comprising 11 fours and a six. Siddhesh Veer and Neeraj Joshi also scored well, sharing 39 and 37, respectively. The batting order of the Royals displayed solidarity and composure and eventually managed to win the game by six wickets.

Finally, missing chances in the field by the Kolhapur Tuskers was the reason they lost the game. The Tuskers could not defend it despite a very good total and some fine batting performances. Raigad Royals, however, were determined and resilient, and they won an exciting match.
