India’s white-ball tour of Bangladesh has been postponed, as confirmed by a BCCI advisory. Originally scheduled for August 2025 following India’s Test series against England, the tour has now been moved to September 2026. The BCCI and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) reached a mutual decision to reschedule the series, which includes three ODIs and two T20Is.
The postponement was made after discussions between the two boards, taking into account both teams’ international commitments and overall scheduling convenience. According to the original itinerary, the ODI series was scheduled to start on August 17 in Mirpur, with the T20I matches beginning on August 26 in Chattogram.
Although Bangladesh will now host the rescheduled white-ball series in 2026, the updated fixture list and exact dates are yet to be finalized and are expected to be announced soon following this change.

What Lies Ahead For Team India In International Cricket?
Although the Bangladesh tour was initially set to be India’s next international engagement after the England series, their upcoming fixtures will now begin with a two-match Test series against the West Indies. India will host the Caribbean side, with the first Test scheduled to start in Ahmedabad on October 2, followed by the second Test in Delhi from October 10.
After completing the home series against the West Indies, India will travel to Australia for a white-ball tour comprising three ODIs and five T20Is. The ODI series is slated to begin on October 19 in Perth, while the T20I leg is scheduled to commence on October 29 in Canberra.
India’s final international series of 2025 will be a multi-format home assignment against South Africa. They are set to host the Proteas for two Test matches beginning November 14, followed by a three-match ODI series starting on November 30. The year will conclude with a five-match T20I series starting December 9, with the final match of the tour set to be played on December 19.
