Actor and choreographer Dhanashree Verma shared a cryptic social media post shortly after appearing on a podcast where she spoke about her divorce from ex-husband Yuzvendra Chahal. Earlier, Chahal had addressed the separation for the first time during his conversation with Raj Shamani on his podcast.
Dhanashree, in her appearance on the Humans of Bombay podcast, narrated her side of the story. She revealed that the experience left her emotionally shattered and also took a subtle dig at Chahal for wearing a “Be Your Own Sugar Daddy” T-shirt on the final day of their divorce hearing.
Following the release of the podcast, she posted an Instagram story hinting at a fresh beginning, suggesting that a new chapter of her life is about to unfold.
“It’s time to Rise. A new chapter begins now,” she wrote.
The couple married in December 2020 but, after living apart for nearly 18 months, they officially ended their relationship in March 2025. Chahal later disclosed that divorce talks had been underway for quite some time, though both chose to keep matters private until everything was finalized.
Chahal And Dhanashree Exchange Cryptic Posts Amid Ongoing Podcast Revelations
Dhanashree Verma isn’t the first to post something cryptic on social media, as the back-and-forth between the two has been ongoing. Earlier, Yuzvendra Chahal had broken his silence about their divorce during a podcast appearance. Dhanashree later responded by sharing her perspective in a different podcast.
Shortly after her remarks went public, Chahal took to Instagram with a cryptic post of his own.
“Million feelings, Zero words. ⛰️ 🤍,” he captioned the post, which grabbed everyone’s eyeballs.

The wrist-spinner shared photos from his recent trip to Kirkstone Pass. Currently, Chahal is representing Nottinghamshire in the English One-Day Cup 2025 and has also been featuring for the county side in the Championship.
