India all-rounder Shivam Dube bagged his second wicket in the Asia Cup 2025 Super 4s clash by removing Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, September 21. The dismissal occurred on the opening ball of the 15th over of Pakistan’s innings.
Dube delivered a slower ball wide outside off, luring Farhan into a big drive. The batter failed to connect cleanly, getting it off the toe end of the bat and lofting it in the air. Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav, positioned at extra cover, made no mistake, completing a safe catch.

Shivam Dube Strikes Twice In IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 Clash
India captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and chose to bowl first. Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan was given an early life when Abhishek Sharma dropped him for a duck off Hardik Pandya’s bowling in the opening over. However, Hardik soon provided the first breakthrough in the third over, dismissing Fakhar Zaman for 15 from nine deliveries, with wicketkeeper Sanju Samson completing a fine low catch.
In the fifth over, Kuldeep Yadav spilled a chance to dismiss Saim Ayub on four. Farhan and Ayub capitalized, stitching together a 72-run stand in just 48 balls for the second wicket. Their partnership ended when Shivam Dube removed Ayub for 21 off 17 deliveries. Kuldeep later struck in the 14th over, sending Hussain Talat back for 10.
Shivam Dube followed up by dismissing the well-set Farhan for 58, claiming his second wicket of the match. By the end of 18 overs, Pakistan were 146/4, with Mohammad Nawaz (20) and Salman Agha (15) unbeaten at the crease. Dube was the standout with the ball, finishing with figures of 2/33 from his four overs.
