MS Dhoni has added yet another feather to his cap by becoming a certified Drone Pilot. Former Indian cricket captain who is now 44 years old entered a class in Chennai for DGCA-approved drone pilot training at Garuda Aerospace’s RPTO. Dhoni is trained in the safe operations of drones and has undergone both theoretical ground classes and air classes of practical flying.

To further this, the training supports certified drone operations in India. This means Dhoni is certified to fly drones, allowing their use as a mechanism to propel India’s development story. Under Garuda Aerospace instructions, more than 2,500 budding pilots have undergone training from Master Instructors.

After this milestone, Dhoni would tie up with Garuda Aerospace even more closely, besides having an investment and endorsement in the company. The company has been DGCA-approved to conduct drone-pilot training in both the small and medium categories.
