[WATCH]- KL Rahul Shows Visible Frustration After Being Mobbed With Athiya Shetty

India star KL Rahul seemed visibly annoyed after he and his wife, Athiya Shetty, were swarmed by fans during the ongoing home series against South Africa. The couple was leaving a restaurant after dinner when supporters gathered around them seeking photographs.

Despite Rahul refusing and pointing out that it was late, the crowd continued to move closer. A security personnel accompanying him had to physically push fans back as they persisted in surrounding him. As Athiya stepped out as well, fans shifted their attention towards her, attempting to crowd around and request pictures.

After refusing several times, Rahul appeared clearly irritated and upset by the fans’ conduct. He was spotted wearing a simple black T-shirt, while Athiya was dressed casually in a black shirt paired with jeans. The senior batter also seemed worried as the crowd began moving closer towards Athiya. You can watch the video here:

KL Rahul Guides India To ODI Series Win

KL Rahul led India in the three-match ODI series against South Africa, stepping in as captain in Shubman Gill’s absence. Under his leadership, the Men in Blue secured the series 2-1. In the first ODI at Ranchi, India posted a massive 349/8 batting first, with Rahul contributing a vital 60 off 56 balls at number five.

The bowlers then restricted South Africa to 332, handing India a 17-run victory. South Africa bounced back in the second ODI. India again batted first and scored 358/5, with Rahul smashing a quick unbeaten 66 off 43 balls. However, India could not defend the total, and the Proteas won by four wickets.

The final ODI, which decided the series, saw India bowl first and dismiss South Africa for 270. India chased down the target comfortably in 39.5 overs, winning by nine wickets in a dominant performance.
