Star batter Rishabh Pant shared some light-hearted moments with his teammates before joining a training session at the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) camp. The interaction took place ahead of the Indian Premier League 2026, which is scheduled to start on Saturday, March 28.

As anticipation builds for the upcoming season, the LSG franchise posted a video on X on Thursday, March 12. The clip showed Pant arriving at the camp, warmly interacting with players and members of the support staff, and later stepping up for batting practice in the open nets.

In the upcoming season, Rishabh Pant will look to revive the team’s fortunes after Lucknow Super Giants (LSG)endured a disappointing campaign in the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League. The side finished seventh in the points table under his captaincy and failed to secure a place in the playoffs.

The left-handed batter also experienced a tough tournament on a personal level, managing 269 runs from 13 innings at an average of 24.25 and a strike rate of 133.16. His tally included one century and one half-century.

Lucknow Super Giants to meet Delhi Capitals in their first match of IPL 2026

On Wednesday, March 11, the schedule for the first phase of the Indian Premier League 2026, which will run until April 12, was revealed. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are set to play four matches during this phase, starting their campaign against Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 1 in Lucknow.

After their opener, LSG will face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 5 and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 9, with both matches scheduled as away fixtures. Their fourth match of the phase will be played at home in Lucknow against Gujarat Titans (GT) on April 12.
