[WATCH] RCB Unveil Heartfelt Conversation Between Kohli and Suryavanshi

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) recently released footage of Virat Kohli interacting with teenage prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi following the IPL 2026 final. RCB successfully retained their title, defeating Gujarat Titans by five wickets to secure their second successive IPL championship.

Suryavanshi was in attendance at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad for the summit clash. After the match, Kohli spent a few moments speaking with the young batter, offering guidance, encouragement, and valuable insights as he continues his cricketing journey.

“Yaha se upar jaana hai. Jo hua hai woh acchi mehnat ki wajah se, belief ki wajah se. Kon kya bol raha hai, kaise bol raha hai, bat aur tum, bas. Ek bihari sab pe bhari, phir khatam game,” he said.

Virat Kohli delivered a match-winning performance in the final, scoring an unbeaten 75 off 42 deliveries. His innings featured nine fours and three sixes, while maintaining an impressive strike rate of 178.57. The veteran batter’s outstanding effort earned him the Player of the Match award as he guided RCB to a comfortable victory.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Caps Off a Remarkable IPL 2026 Campaign

Although Rajasthan Royals (RR) fell short of winning the title, IPL 2026 proved to be a breakthrough season for Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The young opener was instrumental in RR’s journey to the playoffs, often carrying the batting lineup with his consistent and explosive performances.

The 15-year-old amassed 776 runs in 16 matches at an outstanding average of 48.50 and a remarkable strike rate of 237.30. His tally included one century and five half-centuries, while he hammered 63 fours and 72 sixes. Suryavanshi finished as the tournament’s leading run-scorer and claimed the Orange Cap.

His stellar season also earned him several individual honours. The left-handed batter was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Emerging Player of the Season. In addition, he won the Super Striker of the Season award for his exceptional strike rate and the Super Sixes award after hitting the most sixes in the tournament with 72 maximums.
