Virat Kohli’s interview about his bond with tennis great Novak Djokovic has gone viral amid the buzz of the Wimbledon Championships. Kohli is meanwhile preparing for India’s upcoming three-match ODI series against England cricket team, starting on Tuesday, July 14.
Kohli and Djokovic have remained in touch for some time, as both sporting icons have previously revealed. Meanwhile, Djokovic advanced to the fourth round of Wimbledon 2026 after defeating Arthur Rinderknech.
“I have been in touch with Novak for a while now. We have exchanged some messages. He’s been very gracious and kind to stay in touch. At the stage of the career that he is, probably in the comparison or conversation of being the greatest of all time.”
“Probably right up there with anyone else, if not be number one. Maximum number of Grand Slams. He deserves it, I feel, with the amount of hard work he’s put in,” Kohli had said.
