On the cricketing side, MS Dhoni was part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) squad for the IPL 2026 season. However, the veteran wicketkeeper-batter did not get an opportunity to play a single game after being ruled out due to a calf strain.

Away from the field, Dhoni’s love for automobiles remains well-known. The former India captain owns an impressive collection of vintage cars and bikes, featuring several rare models. His prized garage includes iconic vehicles like the Hummer H2 and Nissan Jonga, among other classic automobiles.

MS Dhoni Attended Only One Match During IPL 2026

MS Dhoni was unavailable for the majority of CSK’s IPL 2026 matches, making only a single appearance at the stadium during the season. The former captain attended Chennai’s final league-stage game, where the team faced SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on May 18. CSK ended the campaign with a five-wicket defeatagainst SRH.

Following the match, Dhoni joined the Chennai squad for a lap of honor, thanking the home fans for their continued support. The season proved to be a disappointing one for the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led CSK, as they missed out on playoff qualification and finished eighth on the points table with six wins and eight losses.
