Reports: Team India Skipper Unhappy with Head Coach Anil Kumble:- If media reports are to be believed, there seems to be trouble brewing in the Indian cricket team with the players reportedly unhappy with coach Anil Kumble.
As Anil Kumble”s coaching tenure comes to an end after Champions Trophy, BCCI are advertising for new coach. They have asked some of the former cricketers to throw in their names.
Amidst of all this, some reliable sources say all is not well within the Indian dressing room at the moment. As per reports, Captain Kohli is not happy with the way Anil Kumble is going about his job with the Indian team. Looking at the results team India has produced last few months, it is hard to believe.
As Indian team prepares for the Champions Trophy, BCCI”s advisory committee consisting of Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman have got a task on their hands picking India”s new coach.
Kumble as they say, is a “hard-task master” and has not gone well with some of the senior pros in the side. The players were lot more comfortable with Ravi Shastri”s style of working.
As per reports, Vinod Rai, the chairman of CoA is likely to meet the three member panel of Sachin, Sourav and VVS to discuss the issue.
It must be noted that back in 2007, senior Indian players led a revolt against then coach Greg Chappell, leading to the Australian getting the sack.
