Tennis superstar Sania Mirza has come forward to wish the Indian women”s cricket team good luck before the World Cup.
Saina Mirza left a heartfelt message to Indian Women”s team on Twitter via a video wishing them all the best for the upcoming world cup. The video was posted by the official account of the Women”s World Cup.
She said in the video, “Hey girls I wanna wish you all the best. I hope you guys can come back with the trophy back in hand and hopefully I can catch some matches”
India”s best result in Women”s World Cup so far has been runners up in 2005 edition being defeated by Australia. In the last edition which was played in India, India didn”t qualify for semi-finals.
This time around Raj and her girls will be looking to make it count and go all the way to lift the elusive trophy.
