Evin Lewis special batting display powered West Indies to a 9 wicket win over India in the only T20 match at Sabina Park, Jamaica last night. After losing the toss, the Indian team got off to a flying start with Kohli and Dhawan putting on 66 for the first wicket. After that they lost wickets, as a result, India scored 190 for 6 in 20 overs, Evin Lewis scored 125* which helped West Indies to a comfortable 9 wicket win.
West Indies captain Carlos Braithwaite won the toss and elected to field at Sabina Park, Jamaica. The Indian captain Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan started the innings on a flying scoring with both of them smashing West Indies new ball bowlers of Samuel Badree and Jerome Taylor for 26 runs in the first 2 overs. In the last over Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja hit 18 runs to help India post 190 for 6 in 20 overs. Despite that in the last 10 overs, India scored 97 runs.
Chasing the target of 191, the West Indies innings got off to a flying start with Evin Lewis in a great hitting mood.
