The 18-year-old leg spinner from Afghanistan is going places after his amazing stint in the Indian Premier league with the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The young cricketer is certainly attracting fans all over the world. Recently, while playing in the Caribbean Premier League he got an epic marriage proposal from one of his fans.
Khan is representing Guyana Amazon Warriors in the CPL and has been bowling exceptionally well throughout the tournament picking up 8 wickets in 7 matches. He has also been very economical giving only a few runs even bowling in the powerplays.
During a group stage match against St. Lucia Stars, an epic incident took place which proves his growing fan base throughout the world. A young girl was spotted in the stands holding a placard which read, “Rashid Khan – You’re young, I’m young. My roti is round, let’s settle down.”
The star cricketer from Afghanistan got a marriage proposal and he hasn’t reacted yet. Speculations are around if he would at all react to her proposal.
