Jofra Archer is a well-known cricketer who set up shop in England after migrating from Barbados. He made his debut for England in 2019 and was also part of their World Cup-winning squad. Following his exploits in the Ashes 2019, he has been a regular member in the English contingent.

One such instance was when the pacer slammed Rohit Sharma on Twitter, who was captaining Mumbai in the 2014 IPL. Although it is not known what exactly set Jofra off, the tweet has since gone viral.

Jofra Archer was pivotal in England’s 2-2 draw in the 2019 Ashes. He picked 22 wickets, with two five-wicket hauls being the icing on the cake. Although a persisting elbow injury has kept him on the sideline in recent times, he remains England’s best-limited overs bowler.
Archer recently announced that he’ll be prioritizing the T20 World Cup scheduled to take place later this year and the Ashes later this year.
“One thing I am determined about post-elbow operation is not to rush my comeback. My primary focus is to be playing for England in the Twenty20 World Cup and Ashes later this year. Those are my targets. If I come back before then and manage to play in the home Test series against India — then fine, so be it. If I don’t, I am quite prepared to sit out the summer,” Archer wrote in the column for the Daily Mail.
