The West Indies keeper-batsman Nicholas Pooran recently made his captaincy debut in the T20I series against Australia. Pooran was appointed as captain in all the games of the five-match T20I series. Meanwhile, the 25-year-old has an amazing run as a captain of WI but the same can’t be said about the toss. Pooran was very unfortunate in terms of toss. Southpaw was on a toss losing streak until the 4th game of the series. However, Nicholas Pooran finally won the toss in the 5th and final match of the series.
Skipper Nicholas Pooran flipped the coin and Australian captain Aaron Finch called for heads. Adding to it when the match referee checked the result it was found tails. Pooran-led West Indies got their first toss victory. Nicholas was very happy at the moment he had a smile on his face and clapped after winning the toss. He also gave cheeky look to the Aussie captain after the toss. Aaron Finch also had a smile on his face after seeing Pooran win the toss.
