There are times during a sporting event when the audience know they are in presence of greatness, Rashid Khan”s outstanding performance against KKR was one such incidence where even the most ardent critique bowed down to the genius of his craft.
The Afghanistan Rockstar single-handedly Knocked the Kolkata Knight Riders out of the competition in the epic battle between SRH and KKR in the qualifier 2.
Hyderabad after opting to bat first was looking to post a mediocre total before Khan took centre stage and blasted 34 of just 10 deliveries to take the total above 170, which in the end proved to be more than enough for the Sunrisers to progress into the Finals.
With the ball too, Rashid weaved his magic once again as he removed three best batsmen of the opposition in his 4 overs spell. Lynn, Uthappa and Russel could not stop Rashid”s assault with the ball as KKR were almost defeated by a single man alone.
Twitter was in awe of masterclass from 19-year-old and even the legends like Sachin Tendulkar were impressed from the performance of the Hyderabad”s MVP player.
