India’s swashbuckling batsman Rohit Sharma has recently revealed that he has found the celebrity look-alike of his teammate Rishabh Pant. However, Rohit named Pant and Bollywood rapper Badshah were doppelgangers.
He gave the reason as both Rishabh Pant and Badshah’s styling sense are more or less similar. Ahead of the match against New Zealand, Rohit Sharma shared this on the ICC’s official Instagram handle. The ICC shared the following post with the caption:
“Rohit Sharma has discovered Rishabh Pant’s celebrity lookalike. Do you see the resemblance? š¶ļø #T20WorldCup”.

India lose two in two in T20 World Cup 2021
Virat Kohli & Co’s woes with the bat continued even against New Zealand. They were fancied, in theory, with all their players gaining experience in the conditions during the IPL, but they never played as a unit in the lead-up and it shows.
In the second half, perhaps a less abject surrender was expected, but New Zealand were simply too pragmatic to let the big names faze them, nurdling and nudging their way to a paltry target. Guptill started off aggressively before Mitchell took over, and fell just short of his maiden T20I fifty, and eventually, captain Kane Williamson stayed unbeaten to guide them to a comfortable win.

Speaking at the end of the game, the India captain admitted that they were not brave enough on the field with both bat and ball.
“To be brutal upfront, I don’t think we were brave enough with bat/ball. We obviously didn’t have much to play with the ball. We were just not brave enough in our body language when we entered the field and NZ had better intensity, body language. Every time we took a chance, we lost a wicket. It’s most often a result of hesitation of whether you should go for a shot or not,” Virat Kohli said.Ā
