Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer is known for his hilarious banters on social media, lightening the mood of his millions of followers. He often engages with former England cricketer Michael Vaughan on Twitter battles and has the full support of his fans and Indian cricket team fans in such battles.
He has made another tweet that has made cricket fans go into laughing ruptures. Yesterday, he made a quirky tweet on Delhi Capitals (DC) all-rounder Mitchell Marsh during their game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
Marsh was batting at No. 3 and was timing the ball well. He and Rishabh Pant were stitching a good partnership and were taking Delhi closer to the finish line in pursuit of 196 runs. In the eighth over of the game, Marsh was adjudged out after he edging the ball to the keeper.
Mitchell Marsh walked off without the umpire signalling out and decided against the review. Later on, the ultra edge showed no spike which meant Marsh should have been not-out if he decided to review this. This was a big blow for Delhi as he was a set batsman and it was a crucial stage of the game.
Wasim Jaffer trolled both Mitchell Marsh and Ricky Ponting after the game and it was a subtle dig that let the fans laugh their hearts out. Jaffer shared a meme from Bollywood blockbuster Munna Bhai M.B.B.S that left the fans in splits.

Lucknow beat Delhi by 6 runs
Delhi Capitals lost the plot after the wicket but still ended up making it a close affair. For LSG, Left-arm pacer Mohsin Khan was brilliant in particular as he gave away just 16 runs in his quota of four overs and took four wickets in the process.
As far as the Capitals are concerned, besides Mitchell Marsh, skipper Rishabh Pant played a knock of 44 runs which eventually went in vain. They currently toil in the sixth spot with eight points in nine matches and will have to win all their remaining matches to give themselves the best chance of making it to the playoffs.
