Rohit Sharma posted his highest T20 World Cup score against Australia at Bridgetown in Barbados on May 07, 2010. The Australian team posted a competitive total of 184/5 thanks to a great opening partnership between David Warner and Shane Watson putting on 104 runs.
In reply, Rohit Sharma came at the fall of Gautam Gambhir‘s wicket with the scoreboard reading 12/2. The right-handed batter looked class apart as other Indian batters struggled against Australian bowling.

Rohit steadied the ship along with captain Dhoni, keeping the scoreboard ticking along with occasional boundaries. Sharma completed his half-century off 40 balls and rescued the Indian innings to a competitive total of 153 for 5 in 20 overs.

Rohit Sharma produced another vital knock in the 2007 World T20 final against arch-rivals Pakistan played at Johannesburg. India looked in decent shape with a superb partnership between Yuvraj Singh and Gambhir after the loss of two early wickets.
Rohit came at the crease with the scoreboard reading 111 for 4 in the 16th over. The Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper took singles and doubles initially before hitting important runs.
