The T20 series against England in 2017 was a turning point in Yuzvendra Chahal’s career. The third match of the series was played at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, one of Chahal’s favourite grounds.
In the second over of the innings, Chahal shocked England, who were chasing the target of 203 runs. He dismissed opener Sam Billing. After this, Chahal sealed the victory of the Indian team by dismissing England captain Eoin Morgan and Joe Root in the 14th  over.

#2 4/23 vs Sri Lanka, 2017
Yuzvendra Chahal produced the second-best performance of his career in a T20I game against Sri Lanka in 2017. In this match, India bowled out Sri Lanka for just 87 runs to secure a massive victory.
Chahal did not give the Sri Lankan batsmen any chance to score while chasing the target of 181 runs. The veteran leg-spinner took important wickets of Upul Tharanga, Angelo Mathews, Asala Gunaratne and Thisara Perera in this match.
#3 3/20 vs South Africa, 2022
India locked horns with South Africa in a home T20I series after IPL 2022. In the first two matches of this series, Yuzvendra Chahal’s performance was disappointing. However, in the third match, Chahal made a brilliant comeback and picked up three wickets.
In this match, Chahal dismissed Rassie van der Dusen and Dwaine Pretorius, the star batsmen of South Africa in the previous match. Chahal gave only 20 runs in his four overs and due to this brilliant performance, he was also awarded the Player of the Match award.
