Aaron Finch and KL Rahul’s friendly teasing during the second ODI won plenty of hearts. The series between Indian and Australia was expected to be full of heated exchange but so far these IPL mates have stayed away from it. Even in the previous ODI, there was a lot of smiles on the field and the players didn’t attempt any type of sledging.
The two sides are currently playing the second ODI of the series at the iconic Sydney Cricket ground. Aussie captain Finch once again won the toss and had no hesitation in electing to bat first. Once again the prolific duo of Finch and Warner made life difficult for the Indian bowlers. For the second game in the row both stitched together a 100 runs partnership for the opening stand.
Aaron Finch and KL Rahul engage in friendly teasing
After not losing any wicket in the first powerplay Warner and Aaron Finch continued on their merry ways and scored comfortably on the batting track of Sydney. Navdeep Saini then while looking for wickets tried executing a yorker to Finch which he went all wrong. The ball slipped out of Saini’s hands and it ended up hitting Finch in the stomach area.

The Aussie captain was immediately in pain and there was a slight delay in the proceedings. A few Indian players gathered around Aaron Finch to check on him including KL Rahul. India’s wicket-keeper saw the funny side of it and was seen touching Finch were the ball had made contact.
KL Rahul was having a light moment with finch and was probably reminding him that he too needs to have abs like him. Seeing this everyone had smirks on their faces as Finch and Rahul showcased their friendship in the middle of a tense match.

Meanwhile, even the commentators on air were surprised to see the reactions of the players as never before a series between India and Australia had been so friendly. With the bat in hand, Aaron Finch was once again amongst the runs and registered yet another half-century.
The hosts are currently heading towards a mammoth total with Smith and Labuschagne batting in the middle.
