Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Daughter Ziva Dhoni was stopped in the stands cheering for her father and the Chennai Super Kings during the encounter between CSK and the Sunrises Hyderabad on Thursday (30th September). The Men in Yellow became the first franchise to qualify for the playoffs of IPL 2021.
With every run scored, every wicket scalped, and the last ball six from her dad’s bat, little Ziva Dhoni was spotted several times on the big screen, whistling away in celebration and excitement. As the second leg of the Indian Premier League which is been held in the UAE welcomed spectators into the stadium.
Ziva’s video was captured during the first innings of the match when the Chennai Super Kings were fielding.

MS Dhoni’s CSK qualify for the playoffs
During the encounter between CSK and SRH, the Super Kings once again had an upper hand over their opponents defeating SRH by six wickets to qualify for the IPL playoffs.

Put in to bat first SRH could only manage to make 134 for a loss of seven, with Saha having the highest score of 44. The powerpack opening duo of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis set the team up for the match. Having a partnership of 75 runs, set the tone up for Ambati Raydu and MS Dhoni further in the match. Dhoni stuck Kaul for a six into the mid-wicket stands, helping CSK cross the finishing line with 6 wickets and 2 balls to spare.
MS Dhoni also achieved his personal feet of completing 100 catches as wicket-keeper in the Indian Premier League. Dhoni took three catches in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad to reach this glorious milestone.
