Afghanistan is scheduled to visit Zimbabwe for a multi-match format series in December, which will be the first in the history of Zimbabwe Cricket. The series will comprise both Test series and one-day internationals as well as the T20 internationals to be conducted.
The tour will start with a T20I series comprising three matches to be played in Harare from December 9 to December 12. These will be replaced by a long format series of Zimbabwe`s first boxing day test at home in the last 28 years. Furthermore, the nation also has its first ever New Year’s Test, which is a perfect opening for cricket fans in the year.
The just-launched series Afghanistan Tour of Zimbabwe is one of the most crucial and interesting experiences. In all these Extra Cover courtesy short as well as long format matches, fans will once again get to see exciting cricketing moments.

The Afghanistan tour will begin with a three-match T20I series:
Afghanistan is due to tour Zimbabwe in December in a T20I triangular series before the Tests and they are initially to have three T20Is on the 9th at the Harare Sports Club. The second string match will be held on the 11th of December; the final match is on the 12th December and all the strings will be held in the same venue, respectively.
The forthcoming ODI series will begin on December 15, followed by the second match on December 17 and the third ODI match on December 19. They will all be tri-series one day international matches at the Harare Sports Club. This series will also afford both teams an opportunity to demonstrate as to how good they are with the fifty over format.
The Test series will begin on December 26, including the famous Boxing Day Test to be played at Queens Sports Club. The second and last test will be played from January 2 to January 6 at Queens Sports Club. This will be Zimbabwe’s first Boxing Day Test at home since 1992/93 and their first-ever New Year’s Test match and it will provide cricket fans with a good start to the New Year.
