Rashid Khan played in the Big Bash League season 7 of 2017/18 for Adelaide Strikers, was the joint leading wicket-taker with 18 wickets with an economy of 5.65 runs per over.
He led the average runs per wicket with 13.83 runs per wicket compared to Dwayne Bravo who had also taken the same number of wickets but an average of 20.86 runs per wicket.
He made his Indian Premier League debut in 2017 for Sunrisers Hyderabad and established as a useful leg-spinner taking 17 wickets in 14 matches with an economy of 6.62 runs per over. His best figures in 2017 IPL was 3/19. His outstanding performance in 2017 has fetched him a value of INR 9 Crore in 2018.

The 19-year-old teen sensation from Afghanistan, Rashid Khan has signed for Sussex Sharks for Natwest T20 Blast tournament to be played in England.
Rashid Khan has been a star in leagues all over the world. He played for Guyana Amazon Warriors in CPL 2017. In that tournament also, the young teen sensation finished with 14 wickets in 12 matches with an economy of 5.82 runs per over with best figures of 3/15.

Sussex Sharks have signed him for the NatWest T20 Blast in 2018. He made his international debut for Afghanistan on 18th October 2015 against Zimbabwe. Rashid Khan has taken 70 wickets in 32 matches with 5 wickets in an innings 2 twice.

The young teen sensation produced a magical spell against West Indies picking 7/18 in 8.4 overs during the 1st One day international at Gros Islet. Apart from that, Rashid Khan has played 27 T20I’s for Afghanistan, taking 42 wickets with 5 wickets in an innings one time.

His figures against West Indies were the fourth best figures by a bowler in ODI cricket. Rashid Khan was named the best associate player in ICC awards. His ability to deceive the opposition batsmen with his varieties makes him a tough bowler to face.
