Actress Alia Bhatt, recently revealed that Rohit Sharma is her current favourite cricketer and Virat Kohli is her all-time favourite cricketer. However, the actress was trolled for her answer on social media.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are greats of the modern cricketing era. The two have been pillars of Indian cricket over the last few years, pilling on runs at the International level. While Virat Kohli is referred to as the ‘run-machine’ for his consistency, Rohit Sharma is called as ‘hit-man’ for his fierce batting.
The duo enjoys an immense fan following on social media platforms. However, their fans often engage in fan-wars on Twitter and other social media platforms.
Recently, the fans trolled actress Alia Bhat for revealing her favourite cricketer. In an interview with Sushant Mehta, when asked about her favourite cricketer, Alia Bhatt said, “Rohit current, Virat all-time favourite.”

Alia Bhat was also asked what she would do if she woke up as Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma. The actress replied that she would take a break if she woke up as Kohli as Virat has been working really hard. She added, that if she woke up as Rohit, she wouldn’t take a break, as the cricketer is now the skipper of the Indian team in all three formats.

On the work front, Alia Bhat is promoting her recently released movie Gangubai Kaithawadi, portraying the role of Gangubai Harjivandas. The movie is based on the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai, by S. Hussain Zaidi.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has returned to the Indian camp for the test series against Sri Lanka. He was on a break following the second T20I against West Indies. The Indian team will be led by Rohit Sharma, in the two-match test series which begins on March 4.
