The son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun Tendulkar made his maiden Ranji Trophy century on the 2nd day of 1st round matches played at Goa Cricket Association Academy Ground, Porovim on 14 December 2022.
Goa ended the first day at 210 for 5. He made his Ranji Trophy debut for Goa against Rajasthan. Coming at number 7, Arjun Tendulkar looked solid with his technique and played according to the ball of merit. Arjun proved his worth showing his class scoring 120 off 207 balls.
He and Suyash Prabhudessai hammered the Rajasthan Royals bowlers putting on 221 runs for the 6th wicket. Arjun Tendulkar provided a simple return catch to Kamlesh Nagarkoti. During his 120 knock, he smashed 16 fours and 2 sixes that helped Goa in a strong position at 493 for 8.
Sachin Tendulkar made a century on his Ranji Trophy debut for Mumbai in 1998. Arjun Tendulkar was included in the Mumbai squad but not given a chance to play in the XI. He played two T20Is for Mumbai before shifting to Goa. Arjun Tendulkar proves his worth on the bigger stage and would be looking to take wickets on the 3rd day as Goa would look to gain points.

Arjun looked in sensational touch in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022. He grabbed 10 wickets from 7 matches at an economy of 5.69 runs per over. His performance in India’s premier T20 domestic tournament was impressive being the second leading wicket for Goa behind Lakshya Garg.
Arjun has featured in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022 and finished with seven wickets from eight matches at an economy rate of 4.98 runs per over. He was a part of the Mumbai Indians squad last year but did not get a game.
Arjun would be looking to continue his decent performances in the bowling department for Goa against a strong Rajasthan batting line-up.
