Swastik Chikara, a promising young player for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), recently posted a funny and heartwarming video on social media featuring star cricketer Virat Kohli. In the clip, Chikara is seen spending time with Kohli in the dressing room, taking pictures and enjoying a light-hearted exchange.
At one point, Kohli playfully teases him, saying, “Dimaag khaata rehta hai hamesha”. The video quickly gained popularity online, showing the fun rapport between the experienced Kohli and the young cricketer. Chikara is also heard saying, “Bade bhai hai hamara. Jab mann kare, tab photo le dete hain“, expressing his admiration and affection for the cricket legend.
RCB’s Road to the Playoffs
RCB has had an impressive campaign in IPL 2025, finishing second in the league stage after a big win over Lucknow Super Giants. The team is showing strong potential to finally secure their first IPL title this year.
Their next big challenge is against the Punjab Kings in the Qualifier 1 match, which is set to take place in Mullanpur. In their last league match, RCB delivered an outstanding performance, especially in the second innings. Lucknow Super Giants, batting first, put up a huge total of 227/3 in 20 overs. Rishabh Pant broke his lean patch with a blazing century. However, RCB turned the game around during their chase.
Despite the pressure, Jitesh Sharma, leading in the absence of the regular skipper, played a sensational knock. His unbeaten 85 off 33 balls helped RCB chase down the total in just 18.4 overs, securing a dominant six-wicket win and boosting the team’s confidence ahead of the playoffs.
Swastik Chikara, bought by RCB for ₹30 lakhs in the 2025 mega auction, is yet to make his debut. But with such strong team bonding and high spirits, fans can expect exciting performances and possibly see the youngster in action soon.
