“Became Model In Australia” – Yash Dayal Responds To The Pacer’s Trendy Photos After BGT 2024-25

Team India pacer Akash Deep shared pictures of himself posing on the streets of Sydney after the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) against Australia. Fans praised his style, and left-arm seamer Yash Dayal even called him a ‘model.’

Notably, Deep and Dayal were teammates for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 2024 IPL. While Deep featured in India’s BGT 2024-25 squad, Dayal was included as a traveling reserve, replacing the injured Khaleel Ahmed. Deep shared the photos on his official Instagram handle:

“Living for the vibes❤️.”

Dayal appeared impressed by Deep’s photos, commenting:

“Became model in Australia bro 🔥❤️.”

Akash Deep delivered a decent performance with the ball during the BGT 2024-25 but was slightly unlucky at times, ending with just five wickets across four innings. Despite putting in solid efforts, he couldn’t break through at key moments. A back issue ruled him out of the final Test in Sydney, which was a blow to his momentum and the team’s strategy.

India started the series with a dominant 295-run win in Perth, showcasing their all-round brilliance. However, Australia rebounded strongly, securing a 3-1 series victory to reclaim the trophy after a decade.

Yash Dayal left India’s traveling reserves during BGT 2024-25 to join the Vijay Hazare Trophy

Yash Dayal was part of the Indian squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy but was released by the team management to compete in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25. The left-arm pacer represented Uttar Pradesh in the domestic 50-over competition.

The 27-year-old claimed four wickets in three matches at an economy rate of 5.00. Uttar Pradesh had a mixed run in the tournament, finishing third in Group D with three wins and three losses from six games, failing to secure a spot in the knockout stage.
