After an exit from the Cricket World Cup, Bangladesh is all set to tour Sri Lanka. The tour comprises of a three-match ODI series played at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. The squads for the same are expected to be out very soon.
Both the sides gave their best at the World Cup and have taken a lot of positives. While Shakib”s form has been one of the talking points of the tournament, Avishka Fernando”s belligerence in the middle received a lot of applause.
It will be interesting if the boards will be sending their young side to the ODI series or continue with the same.
The Kiwis will also be arriving in Sri Lanka for test and T20I series in the month of August. The test series marks the beginning of ICC test championship alongside Ashes which will be taking place in the United Kingdom.
A lot of bilateral series are in the store and we will have to wait and see how the rankings change in days to come.
