It was an eventful day in Indian cricket as two fast bowlers gave their wedding vows. Bhuvneshwar Kumar got married to Nupur Nagar and Zaheer Khan to his girlfriend Sagarika Ghatge. Bhuveshwar and Nupur tied the knot in Meerut. Nupur is an engineer who works in Noida.
In May this year, Bhuvneshwar posted a pic having dinner with a girl. He refrained from revealing who he was dating to keep it suspenseful. Some fans mistook that girl to be a South Indian actress before Bhuvi cleared the air. In October he finally revealed her name on Instagram.
Bhuvneshwar’s father, Kiran Pal Singh is quoted as saying in TOI, “Our families have known each other for a while now, par yeh Bhuvneshwar ki pasand thi. Ussne humein bataya and we were happy. (Bhuvneshwar liked this girl. He told us and we were happy). The girl is educated and sweet and the family is very nice too. We are now trying to see when we can have the wedding. Bhuvi is busy with back-to-back series in the coming months but as soon as we find a 10-day window, we will make arrangements,”
Bhuvi who was a man of the match in Kolkata test opted out of the remainder of series. He is expected to join the team for ODIS which start on December 10.
