Rashid is regarded as the best spinner in T20 cricket today. When Rashid was asked the name of batsman he has found extremely tough to bowl in the IPL he had more than one name in mind.

Rashid was recently doing an Instagram live session with Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. The Afghanistan player also revealed that it was always his dream to play in the IPL. Since the league consists of all top players from around the world he too wanted to feature in the T20 league.

B”IPL, I had played in Bangladesh Premier League. It was a different experience in IPL. It was a dream to play in IPL, I grew up watching it on TV. All the international players are there in the league. The coaching staff too is very experienced”.

“My debut was against you guys (RCB). I got hit for boundary for the first ball. It was a tough match for me as there was due in the ground. I was nervous, when I got my first wicket I gained confidence and after getting the second wicket I was enjoying the bowling”, said Rashid Khan.

“Bowling to Virat Bhai, ABD, Russell and Chris Gayle is very tough on small grounds. You don’t get much support from the wicket and boundaries are short too so before the match these things come in mind,” Rashid Khan said when asked to pick the toughest batsmen in IPL.

The current IPL season this year might be played in September-October behind closed doors. The IPL was scheduled to be played from March 29 but was indefinitely postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. BCCI is looking for a window to play the IPL later this year and the final decision can be after ICC decides the final fate of the T20 world cup.
