Mizanur Rahman’s announcement was shared by Bangladeshi journalist Syed Sami, stating, “Fortune Barisal has terminated the contract of Shoaib Malik on the suspicion of ‘fixing.’ During a recent match, Malik, who is a spinner, bowled three no-balls in one over.”
This development adds to Shoaib Malik’s controversial week, including his third marriage to Sana Javed, which drew criticism on social media. The termination of his BPL contract intensifies scrutiny on the former captain. Despite the recent setbacks, Malik’s cricket legacy is noteworthy. In Tests, he played 35 matches, accumulating 1898 runs.
