The third and last One Day International match between South Africa and Pakistan happened on Sunday, 22nd December, at the historic Wanderers Stadium of Johannesburg. Even though Pakistan was already 2-0 up in the series, the match was filled with some thrilling moments. The game, however, will be remembered for a different reason altogether: a baby boy was born during the match at the stadium.
The Pink ODI that this match was dubbed as saw the coming into the world of a baby boy, which is a first in human history. This made the atmosphere a little special in what was otherwise a rather inconsequential match. This was the first time ever that Pakistan had whitewashed South Africa, beating them 3-0 for the first time in any ODI bilateral series in South Africa. The man will be remembered for that moment, and the Pakistan team has been brilliant throughout the series.

The third and the last one-day international match between Pakistan and South Africa was played at Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Sunday that is November 22. Placed ahead 2-0, Pakistan decided to bat first in a final match that, at best, was a consolation. But the game will be best known for moments outside of the cricket field. The first inning period saw the birth of a baby boy at the stadium, making records in Pink ODI.
The match also had another wonderful moment when one of the boys got down on his knee to propose to his girlfriend while the game was going on. The romantic act that went viral with people in the stands captured the moment the girl accepted by clapping.
The proposal also contributed to enthusiasm for the match since, apart from Pakistan, there was little that anyone could do to change the scoreline. It will be the Pink ODI that will be remembered for the little incidents on and off the field.
