Speaking about the tournament, the competition will see cricketers from four different age groups – U-12, U-14, U-16, and U-19 (girls) ply their trade for the illustrious trophy. The cricketers will be divided into 28 teams (24 for boys and four for girls). There will be two groups for each age category which each team playing a minimum of three matches.

Meanwhile, the top two teams from each group of each age category will qualify for the knock-out stage. The finals will be a 25-over game and will be played under the lights.
