England Cricket Board announced a strong 14 member squad for the T20I series against Australia and then followed with a 3 match T20I series against India. Eoin Morgan will do captaincy duties in both the series.
Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Moeen Ali have been included in the squad after being rested from the tri-series including Australia and New Zealand will be making a comeback.
Chris Jordan, David Willey, Liam Plunkett, Jake Ball are the fast bowlers included in the squad. Chris Woakes suffering from injuries has been completely ruled out of T20I series.
Ben Stokes suffering from a hamstring injury before the second test against Pakistan, will not play the ODI series against Australia and would stay with the squad to recover, his selection would rely on his fitness.
Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid are the two spinners included in the squad. England has a strong batting line up comprising of Jason Roy, Jos Buttler, Eoin Morgan, Jonny Bairstow, Alex Hales.
The other players who are not a part of England T20I squad for series and Australia are Dawid Malan, James Vince and Liam Dawson.
They have been ruled out of poor form that they displayed against New Zealand this year. Sam Billings has not shown promise in ODI series against Australia is not a part of the squad.
Both brothers, Sam Curran and Tom Curran will be a part of the squad. Sam Curran made his test debut against Pakistan at Leeds have been rewarded with a place in the T20I squad. The England Cricket team is currently on a roll leading 2-0 in the ongoing ODI series against Australia.
England will face Australia in a one-off T20I match on 27th June at Edgbaston. The most exciting battle between India and England would begin from 3rd July at Manchester, 2nd T20I on 6th July at Cardiff and then final T20I match on 8th July at Bristol.
