Jasprit Bumrah is the best ODI bowler in modern day cricket. His unorthodox action and ability to surprise opponents with his bouncers and slower ones makes him a tough bowler to face.
In the recently concluded IPL, Bumrah played a key role in Mumbai Indians” success with 19 wickets from 16 matches (16 innings) at an economy of 6.63.
He made his ODI debut for India on 23rd January 2016 and has been the backbone in India’s success for the last 2 years. So far, Bumrah has taken 85 wickets from 49 matches (49 innings) with an economy of 4.51.
In the 2017 Champions Trophy, Bumrah picked 4 wickets from 5 matches (5 innings) at an economy of just 5 runs per over.
During 2018, he took 22 wickets from 13 matches ( 13 innings) with an incredible economy of 3.62 runs per over. With his current form, he is a captain”s goto any day.
