Competitive cricket is all set to make a comeback in Australia with the Darwin T20 Cricket league. The competition will take place between June 6 and 8 with eight teams being a part of the league. Seven premier grade clubs and one invitational XI that will have players from the Northern Territory’s ‘Asia cup’ competition.
The last competitive cricket match that was played in Australia was on 13th March. The ODI between Australia and New Zealand was played behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 scare. Since then all cricketing activities have been postponed and the Darwin T20 Cricket League will mark the return of cricket in Australia.
There will be a total of 15 matches played in the T20 league at 3 stadiums which are Marrara Cricket Ground, Gardens Oval and Cazaly’s Oval. The matches will start at 10 am and 2:30 pm local time for three days.

The semifinals and the finals of the T20 league will be streamed live on MyCricket Facebook page to the audience all around the world.
