The England-India Test match at Lord’s has seen a high voltage battle between bat and ball. Also surprisingly the games have been seen completing fully and rain hasn’t played a spoilsport in the Lord’s Test, unlike Nottingham where rain washed out the entire Day 5 of the first Test.
While batting in the first innings India posted 364 runs on the board with the help of a sensational century by opener KL Rahul. However, this was not enough as England managed to put an even bigger score in their first innings. Notably, with the help of Joe Root’s unbeaten century, England managed to post 391 runs on the board. They will be heading on to Day 4 of Lord’s Test with 27 runs lead in the bag.
Meanwhile, other than the slight delay on Day 2, things have been pretty good and the weather has been game friendly. However, things are expected to change pretty soon on Day 4. According to accuweather.com little shower is expected during the starting of the 4th Day’s play. Also, the clouds are expected to dominate the sky throughout Day 4.

“Joe Root is absolutely sensational, he is not looking like stopping. You should get his Aadhaar Card made if you see his performances against India, link his Aadhaar Card, get his KYC done, do everything and make him Indian.”
“He has hit two half-centuries this year and has struck five centuries. He has hit four hundred at Lord’s, all of them are grand-daddy hundreds and quite a few of them are not out as well. If we talk about this series, he has played three knocks, he has made one half-century and two hundred.”
Joe Root passes 150 for the 11th time in Test cricket.
