Notably, It looked like India will clinch the victory in a first Test match at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. As on the final Day, Virat Kohli led India needed only 157 runs to win with Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara on the crease. However, the match was washed out due to rain and ended in a draw.

Aakash Chopra uploaded a new Q&A video on his YouTube channel. A fan asked the question- Which team would be feeling more confident going into the second Test at Lord’s. Aakash Chopra picked Virat Kohli led side as more confident side and stated:
“Without doubt India. There is no doubt about that. They have very few things to address. Maybe, the form of Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar.”
Cricketer-turned Commentator pinpointed that India does not have any major concern heading into the Lord’s Test. Aakash Chopra asserted:
“Other than that, maybe runs from Rishabh Pant’s bat, maybe wickets from Jaddu in the second innings. But these are minor concerns. They are not concerns that might ask you to say what is going to happen as you are stuck.”
Aakash Chopra discussed the positives and negatives of Team England
The 43-year-old mentioned Joe Root, Robinson, and James Anderson as positive of team England. Aakash Chopra elaborated:
“If you see the positives in the opposition team, you will see Joe Root, Ollie Robinson, and James Anderson – that’s it. After that, they have a list of negatives. They have a lot to think about while India has less.”
Meanwhile, the former Indian cricketer pointed out that the matches in International cricket don’t take a long time for the tables to be turned. Aakash Chopra said:
“But you need to remember one thing. What you feel doesn’t happen in international cricket. You remember 2007, the series we had won, you were about to lose the match at Lord’s if it had not rained but after that, you felt India would have less confidence but we won the next match and eventually the series.”
