The Oval Test match has come down to the final day with England requiring another 291 runs to win. The openers have had a 77-run partnership overnight and would look to continue on the fifth morning. Meanwhile, Aakash Chopra has said that Ravindra Jadeja will be the key on the final day for India to win the game. He said that he will need to pick at least three wickets to help his side win the game.
While previewing the final day’s play in a video shared on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra pointed out that Jadeja has to be amongst the wickets.
“My strong opinion is that if Jaddu doesn’t take three or more wickets, for whatever reason, India won’t win this game. It will be very difficult for the fast bowlers to take all 10 wickets because Ishant and Shami are not there. If you are comparing with Lord’s even slightly, that we had dismissed them in 50 overs, this wicket has nothing, it is looking absolutely flat and favorable for batting” Chopra said.
Indian Pacers Will Be Expensive: Aakash Chopra
He further said that the Indian pacers might go for runs and be expensive on the final day. Umesh Yadav, Shardul Thakur and Mohammed Siraj in company with Jasprit Bumrah form India’s four-man pace attack for the game.
“The scoring will be slow because you can control that but there is slight inexperience in the Indian bowling. Umesh, Shardul and Siraj can be expensive. Bumrah and Jadeja will give you control but it is not going to be easy” added Chopra.
Jadeja and Bumrah are Kohli's key men on the last day. But he can only squeeze that much out of Bumrah. That is why I believe it is an opportunity for Siraj to keep running in and bowl long spells.

Meanwhile, Harsha Bhogle said along with Jadeja, Bumrah will also need to play a role for India to win the game. In the meantime, Chopra concluded by saying that India have a 60-40 chance of winning the game with still 291 required to win.
“The scoring will be slow because you can control that but there is slight inexperience in the Indian bowling. Umesh, Shardul and Siraj can be expensive. Bumrah and Jadeja will give you control but it is not going to be easy” concluded Aakash Chopra.
